Re: Anything Benchmarking/Over clocking/Tweaking/Gaming & Performance
start up? that crew never stopped haha
And well they have an argument with 06, they do not with Vantage as it has been dead on for predicting game performance in my experience. I am sure that 3DMark11 will behave very similar to Vantage in not showing a huge bias towards either the cpu or gpuAlienware M14x R2: Intel Core i7 3610qm | 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 Ram | Nvidia GT 650m 2GB GDDR5 | Intel 320 160GB SSD | Killer Wifi 1202 | Slot Load Blu-Ray Player | 900p Screen

Re: Anything Benchmarking/Over clocking/Tweaking/Gaming & Performance
Got something that is looking even better

It is all put together now. Only thing is I am going to put EK backplates on the 5870s, should be better fit than the stock 5870 ones. Have not filled loop yet but have all the tubing set now.

Re: Anything Benchmarking/Over clocking/Tweaking/Gaming & Performance
I finished my "gaming" desktop! Specs: Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300 @ 2.8GHz(2MB), 3GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, 500(or 550?) Watt cheap-o PSU, and an Nvidia GeForce GT 240 512MB GDDR5. Yes its low end, but good enough for this poor high school student

I did badly on cost though, I spent about $300 on it? Is that bad?
Here's after 30 minutes of CoD Black Ops:

Re: Anything Benchmarking/Over clocking/Tweaking/Gaming & Performance
Whew, good
, I thought I may have gotten ripped.
I paid $200 for the desktop with a Pentium D and 2GB's of memory, no Nvidia card. I paid $55 for the video card, $45 for the E6300, and $25 for PNY ram with heat sinks. I'm selling the old Ram and CPU, so that offsets my costs.
It plays CoD BO on highest settings(1280x1024) great!ASUS UX31A-R5102F: i3-3317U - 4GB DDR3 - 128GB SSD - Intel HD 4000 - 13.3" 1080P
