Some from the alienware subsection that I don't goto anymore are the moo man (extremely helpful, full of info and links when I got my M17x, and the pictures he had of the goats he had were great) and phinagle [sp?].

I heard Phinagle sold his account and now some noob uses it to post.

I'm amazed no one's mentioned Red_Dragon yet. He was pretty cool all around; he liked video games, and he was the one to introduce me to the new Rocket Knight game. He got banned for having a pornographic avatar several months ago; As far as I know he's still banned for it.

This post did make me remember my first weeks here on NBR! Red_Dragon was one of the first members who helped me out. I have countless P.M.s with him, one day I saw his name in red. I felt sorry, it was like, why and who banned him?! Agh, but anyways, life is like this guys, people come, people pass...

It's one thing if people leave voluntarily, but sometimes bans happen and the person as far as you know is completely nice and non-confrontational. Next thing you know... BAM! Banned. I know mods have rules, but sometimes it seems they are a little too sensitive. Then again, some people (myself included) get a little sensitive themselves.

He hasn't posted on Facebook since the beginning of September. I have no idea what's going on with him but there are a lot of "get well soon" posts for him over there. Those posts started about 3 weeks ago. I hope he's ok.

I think it would have been a better idea to either (1) let him be around till he confirms he's ok or it's a prank or (2) if the mod knows his status post it here. If it's not a prank, then the outcome may not be good
