Re: All Things Android - Apps, Phones, and Discussion
Gah, the way Android handles wallpapers is a 4-letter word

Does anyone here use WidgetLocker?
I'm struggling to edit the lock-screen layout so that the widgets line up with my homescreen - any tips would be more than welcome...
Forgive my nosiness but how much is 'hefty'?

Re: All Things Android - Apps, Phones, and Discussion
I've never met my Samsung rep.
Or the Nokia one.
I met someone from HTC once but I'm not sure he was a proper rep.
We used to have a WinMo rep come in very occasionally, back when it was WinMo 6.0 - she'd show off the likes of an HTC Touch then say 'of course, the way the homescreen looks is all down to HTC, nothing to do with us'.
She had kind of a pointless job...
The Motorola guy has been in twice, I think, in the past 6 months but both times when I've not been in.
The LG and Blackberry ones are in fairly regularly.
They're both nice guys, albeit not with much to say.
And then there's the SE rep(s).
The old one quit because she was due to get fired because she wasn't doing her job properly and was getting store managers to cover for her.
The new one seems to be a lot better - he got me an Arc
On an altogether different note, I cracked it - the way in which Android (or LauncherPro anyway) rotates wallpapers from portrait to landscape.
What a faff...

Johnny's back!
I spent two hours playing "Drag Racing" yesterday before going to sleep. This game is pretty addictive.

Re: All Things Android - Apps, Phones, and Discussion
LOL. I've just sold my Nexus S, and I wanted a World-spec GT-i9000. I'm getting a SGS II sometime in the next few months, and then I'll likely sell off my Captivates.

It's just the cycle... buy, new-release, sell old, buy new, new-release...
