I just bought the Nikon D3s.....don't tell the wife.

Now I'm hoping my credit card company doesn't decline it because it's a big purchase out of state. (Bought it at Allen's Camera in PA!).

You pulled the trigger on that bad boy? Congrats!!
I heard that it's continuous/burst mode fires like a machine gun
Did Allen's give you the FroPricing? I'm surprised they have the D3s in stock since it's out of stock in many places right now.

This picture I like very much. I would probably boost the saturation a tiny bit to bring out the reds a bit more.

Thanks. They wouldn't budge on the pricing. With most places being OOS or pricing it above MSRP I was just happy they sold it to me at MSRP.

I wanted a camera I that could see in the dark and I think I finally got it. Of course I've been selling off gear to help pay for it but I think it will be worth it.

The weight is usually the biggest complaint with any 70-200 f2.8. Still worth it when you see the IQ.

With the D3s, you would make an excellent paparazzi

Yeah, the weight is heavy, but still manageable. Just came back from 2 different parks in my neighborhood and i'll post some images in a bit after some post-processing.

Nicely done I saw someone on the fro forum do something similar and wanted to try it but I had no clue how to isolate the colors in just one area of an image in LR
