Oh yeah it's insanely powerful. However, Katara was completely against its use, so I doubt she'll teach anyone blood bending. Remember, Katara even broke down crying when she was forced to use it. That said, I think she's a total hypocrite. Blood bending is literally the best non-lethal way to end a fight we've seen in the Avatar universe. Yes, it takes away someone's free will, yet for someone against killing others, temporarily taking away one's free will while letting them live should be an easy trade off.

If it makes you feel better, someone else might have taught themselves blood bending and could teach Korra down the line. I still don't think the series will go this route (I think they're going to play up the power isn't everything bit), but it could happen.

Air is an unknown. For water, I'd add healing.

By the way, people are so lucky air bending's philosophy is against killing. They could easily draw the air out of someone's lungs and kill them.

Hahah yeah. I am thinking that Air's alternate bending would be something like that or is able to Cut.

Other elemets are usually blunt force type. Piercing(Kinda like Naruto here)

I really doubt Katara changed so much that she would teach anyone how to blood bend. That would be a massive shift in her character and I doubt we'll even see her again.

Well if Korra loses her powers and has to relearn them again(based on next episodes preview) she will have Katara teach her again.

Yeah I don't think blood bending will come into play and she's acting more as a bridge from the previous show. But ya never know.

Hmmm nothing really stands out yet. There quite a number of good shows but no shows right now are extraordinarily good.

MOst of the shows now are enjoyable. Accel world is the closest thing for me that is Great.Medaka Box is one of the enjoyable shows I watch
