I see no contradiction. Hal may not like it, but he has shown that he will begrudgingly use Phantom Books to accomplish his goals. After all, Hal may refer to Flam as trash but she's still his partner.

Even denying that though, there are still other books besides the Phantom Books that he could have learned from.

How many seasons does Zero supposed to have? I have watched that series for quite a while lol

I think either 4 or 5. I saw on Anime News Network that the series that is set to begin airing this October is not the final new series.

Is Steins;Gate really that good Shiki? There are 20 episodes out right now, I could pick it up and wait for the 4 remaining episodes.

Shiki was good.

Im still loyally following Fairy Tail as my #1.

After seeing good comments about Soul Eater I picked that up, but so far 4 or 5 in I am not super thrilled about it. Probably gets better a bit further in.

Stiens:Gate I only have not looked at because I understand it sort of comes after Chaos;Head and I never saw that one.

Steins Gate is GREAT. One of the best series this year for me. the first episodes are a bit slow but it get waaay better once the plot moves forward

Stiens:Gate I only have not looked at because I understand it sort of comes after Chaos;Head and I never saw that one.

Steins Gate is a stand alone series. even though it states that it occurs after Chaos head. It does not actually get anything from the previous series.

Hal burns phantom books for a living and he's quite happy to do so even though his face is locked in a perpetual scowl. The idea of him reading one seems far-fetched.

Most people don't read books to become martial arts masters and certified flamethrowers either.

@Shadowfate: There are lots of world lines, each affected by myriads of individual decisions. Moral concepts like "Good" and "Evil" don't apply so much since they merely chart a course to a specific outcome, even if said outcome is undesirable to public perception.

Remember what they said close to the start of the show, really momentous events separate world lines from each other. In the anime's case, it's the location and ownership of the IBN 5100. Note that the alpha line determining Mayuri's fate has a myriad of permutations, but the only thing that changes it to a beta line is one machine.

Don't forget Steins;Gate is based on the Xbox game of the same name, the whole focus is on the characters and the time travel machine that links them.

Kamisama no memo chou 7: The Hirasaka arc still isn't over yet, but it's just about keeping my interest. The feel is more and more like a noir detective novel.

Toriko 20: That's the first time I've seen a corn stalk that big in my lifetime. The series really does a good job at giving appetite.

Right I remember that there are times in the lines where something significant is the main cause.... OK I remember now. Some of it makes sense.
