I got my hands on a Lenovo X220, I was blown away by its IPS screen. It was so hard to look at the regular E6220 screen after that. I really prefer the E6220 over the X220 and I wanted the best of both worlds, so I took a chance and bought the IPS screen for the X220 and fitted it in my E6220. I sold the X220 right after. Then couple weeks back I got an XT3. I really prefer the E6220 form factor, but since I already have other laptops I figure it's good to have a convertible to mess around with.
PS the battery is brand new. I requested a replacement from Dell last week, still on its first charge.

Strange, there's no Private Message option on this forum?
Was reading threads, is the warranty still valid with this mod? How much is shipping for the original screen as well? Glad there are braver people who are willing to do screen swaps.
Any chance you could email me? kcxme at yahoo dot com? Rather interested cause of the IPS screen, thanks in advance!
Another quick question, does this have a camera? Wasn't mentioned but thought I'd ask. Thanks

Re: FS: Dell Latitude E6220 with IPS screen mod
I need this sold as I'm moving on to something else. To make it easier for me and cheaper for you, I'll sell this E6220 with the IPS screen *without a hard drive* for $550 plus shipping.
I'll consider international shipping, contact me with details. For international assume there's no warranty as I don't know if Dell will transfer outside USA. First pays first served. First to reply here doesn't mean I can hold it for you indefinitely. Had someone reply to another FS thread, had some words exchanged because he replied first but I didn't sell it to him.Windows:

Re: FS: Dell Latitude E6220 with IPS screen mod
I'm going to sell it to a family member, which means A LOT more work for me.. But I'll be removing the IPS screen and putting back the stock screen. If anyone's interested in the screen let me know.
