What other products have you tried? I'm curious to know if these make any difference...

A friend of mine told me that some of the no name branded screen protectors he used from ebay (99cents one's) would:
    1) Lite scratches would pierce through the screen protector and mark his phone
    2) Leave gummy/sticky residue when peeled off that takes a ridiculous amount of time to remove

Most people give XtremeGuard a positive review. Those who don't, give it 1-2 stars because they failed to install the screen protector properly and are blaming the company for their own mistake.

XDA forums are reporting XtremeGuard superior to Ziggy.

XtremeGuard Info (bolted the most important parts):

XtremeGuardTM is made from the toughest, clearest film available to protect your gadget.

    Ultra Scratch Proof Layering.

Using a Premium Flim, XtremeGuardTM provides an invisible finish.

Film was originally designed to protect Military Equipment and Exotic Car paint jobs for life! XtremeGuardTM protection can outlast your device.

This is not the low quality static screen protectors you see plastered all over Ebay, these are XtremeGuardTM Screen Protectors.

Xtreme Clarity, Protects your screen without affecting your screens quality image or touch.

XtremeGuardTM is Designed and Laser Precision Pre-Cut to give your entire screen maximum protection while improving grip, with no cutting necessary.

XtremeGuardTM Protects against Keys, Sharp Objects, Pavement, Fingernails, and Common Hazards your Gadget may encounter.

Don't spend $25-$40 for the exact same thing when you canget it for LESS, and a Satisfaction Guarantee!

*Note: To achieve proper alignment of the screen protector, installation requires the use of a small amount of water. However it is quite simple! Anyone can do it.

They all sound the same IMO. My last one I tried was XOskin and it doesn't have any orange peeling or have any issues with protection. But 75% is a nice deal nonetheless.

I saw this brand when I was considering screen protectors for my GS3. Unfortunately, their protectors seem to have the same problem that most screen protectors have for the GS3: it doesn't take into account the beveled edges right around the screen and at the top and bottom of the phone. That leads to exposed edges that collect dust and later peel.

Rearth has some similarly-priced protectors that leave an edge, so there are no exposed edges. Plus, it comes in a 2-pack, so I had one for my brother's phone as well.

But, these are probably a good solution for most other devices.

I think you're misinterpreting what the orange peel effect is. It's not anything peeling off, it's when the screen protector has the look of the peel of an orange. Zagg Invisibleshields suffer from the orange peel effect greatly. The look of it is very bumpy and orange-textured. I'm not sure how to describe it unless you've seen it first-hand. So once again, it's not that anything actually peels off, it's that it looks like an orange peel.

I know exactly what it is. Those were two separate points that I was considering, distortion (orange peel effect) and protection. I tried Zagg and they are horrible in that aspect, but they are great in terms of protection.

I was not even planning on ordering any screen protectors but they had them for the phone I have and the price was so cheap I went for it. Seems there was no charge for the shipping.

My son's phone is same as mine so now I will have extra screen protectors for both our phones. if I don't use them for the phone these will be big enough I can cut them down and use them on my camera screen if needed.

It amounted to a price of $1.25 each with shipping. Awesome!

If anyone is wondering the length to Canada (particularly Ontario), it took 7 business days from Utah to arrive.

It got to the New York border in 3-4 business days. So a week and a half.
