hey guys, i have a quick question.

I was part of this program two years back called the MAVNI program, i started in february of 2010 and was out in 6-8 months. I did basic training and everything, was wondering if I would be qualified for this?

Unless you are a veteran, active duty or reserve, you don't qualify. I did 4 years in the Marine Corps but since it was not war time I am not technically a veteran so I do not qualify.

You're wrong, you don't have to serve during the time of war to be considered a vet. You are a vet doesn't matter what you think and you should be eligible for this deal as anyone who served before you or is serving right now. Have you checked your eligibility on the AAFES website?
