told my friend about this deal and he bought a thinkpad for 460+tax for school.

now im just deciding on wether to purchase a e220 or e420 for my aunt. might wait for the dell 12 day sale to see what they have to offer.

hmm... I'm debating if i should take advantage of this now or is there a similar sale for back-to-school. Deciding based on my current funding. If i can hold on until august to sept, I can definitely upgrade to better specs for a T420s

was there a history of a similar sale or almost as good for back-to-school last year?

Wow, this deal is great, but know I have to make up my mind again. I was going to go with a Sony Vaio SA + sheet battery for $1300 over a T420, my excuse being that they were similarly priced and I would rather have that one. Now I can get a T420 with a 1600x900 screen and NVS4200 graphics for only $800. That deal ends on the 17th, so now I have two days to make a decision.

bought a e220 yesterday. the 100dollar off isnt as super duper as 25% off thinkpads but still pretty good.

gonna take so long to get the 8% cashback though, if they even honor it.
