dell is crazy!

They are all old models they are trying to clear out for the new models. (The exception being the Vostro 1320, unless that's a typo and really 1310) Last time they tried to clear out the Vostro line they had $500 off like $1200. My dad got the current 17 inch model at the time with Office Pro 2007, XP Pro, Microsoft mouse, and what was at the time a high-end system for like $750. The Office Pro alone was worth a few hundred bucks.

That was my last coupon, sorry. When I get home from school today I might be able to go back and see if any of the coupons I've given out haven't been redeemed and then contact the person I sent it to and see if they have changed their mind about using it, but that's kind of a long shot. You might consider picking a coupon up off eBay or e-Junkie for a few bucks.

+1 for WXGA+

I also like the backlit keyboard, but its a luxury item that you really don't need very often. The high res screen you'll use all the time. And how often do you need a burner on your laptop? I'm sure you can pick one up on Ebay for a reasonable price if you feel you need it.
