Acer Aspire S5 & S7 Preview: Impressive Ultrabooks Discussion
Among numerous ultrabooks presented at IFA, those revealed by Acer were particularly interesting: especially the new Aspire S7 which comes with 11.6 and 13.3-inch screens. There was also a more afforadable Aspire S5 with a 13.3-inch screen. The latter is currently the slimmest ultrabook, measuring only 11.2 millimeters thick with Intel's Core i5 or i7 processor and 64-bit Windows 7 or Windows 8.

I like these Acer designs & it seems like they're really trying hard but when will Acer quality stop sucking? Sorry, I'm just a little biased but I do hope they step it up.

When is the target release date for the S7 13,3"? Will they ship a W7 version with a W8 upgrade option, or do we have to wait for the W8 release (and be tempted by the Surface Pro tablet hybrid instead :-) ?
