Sony Unveils Upgraded VAIO S and VAIO F Series Laptops Discussion
Sony unveiled the upgrades to the 13.3-inch S series and the 16.4-inch F series notebooks today. The S-series are most notably thinner and lighter, and have more power than the last. The F-series is focused on gaming and multimedia capabilities.

Price is less outrageous than the z series but still expensive none the less for 2011, IMO. For half the cost of this SA, I got my HP sandy bridge notebook with HD6770m plus a 256GB SSD. Still if I had the money I would choose this over the Samsung 9 series, and the macbook air.

its not bad for a 13.3" with a decent gpu and 1600x screen... honestly the only other laptop iv found with those specs is the Z series. guess its time to wait for a review to see what the screen quality/heat output/build quality is.
the kicker is the thin and light size+screen+gpu combo its the oneup that non of the competitors seem to have in the 13-14" range.Last edited by RefinedPower; 26th May 2011 at 12:27 PM.
