The 15.6-inch ASUS K50IJ is an extremely budget-friendly system that would be great as a general use notebook around the house. It is currently going for about $415 on Amazon; that's about $285 off the model we reviewed and $55 off the current list price. Even though this model has less RAM, it is upgradeable to 4GB. It also has more hard drive space than our review model and comes with Windows 7 Professional.
