Re: Sony Unveils the VAIO C Series Laptops Discussion
Those are pretty good -- looks like they're finally starting to use decent displays rather than 1366x768 garbage. Also, the 6630M is one of the cards with the slightly updated architecture. It will be interesting to see how it performs relative to, say, the 6570M.

Nice to see something other than 1366x768 garbage, agreed. Finally a Blu-ray notebook with a resolution high enough to properly display the movies.

I can't decide if the colors for these notebooks are ugly or awesome. They are interesting to say the least though. It would be something to pull one of those out in the middle of a lecture hall surrounded by a bunch of macs.

Re: Sony Unveils the VAIO C Series Laptops Discussion
I don't get it 14in Vaio CW had blu-ray, and an option 1600x900 display paired with the nvidia 330gt gpu on the i core models. So, I am not sure why people are saying finally when that had a better than average res and screen for a 14in machine. Too bad that was replaced with the E series machine with the no option screen res for the 14in models.
Sony Vaio TT-160N 4gb of ram.

Because it says The 14-inch VAIO CA and 15-inch VAIO CB [...] both notebooks will have LED backlit widescreen displays with 1080p resolution.
1080p! On 14 inch! I simply do not believe it. I will only believe it when it's up for sale on Sony's website.

The green looks... interesting. Too bad it's only available in a glossy finish.
