any chance you guys could add Avast! on that list the next time around? The place I work at is actually a reseller and I would be interested to see how it stacks up.

Avast is listed in the 2010 Free Antivirus Buyers Guide, I guess they thought that might be enough and skipped the paid version of it.

Why did you test Norton 360 instead of Internet Security?

so which is better from these 3 ?

Final standings in this guide:
Webroot: 45 pts
ESET: 51 pts
Kaspersky: 59 pts

As for which one to get, it depends on what you want in the suites. If you need parental controls then ESET and Webroot are out, as they do not include them.
I personally use ESET Smart Security 4 on all my computers.

I have Kaspersky, but sometimes I want to try if theres something better
which doesnt slow down my Gaming Laptop

Realize when you ask a question like "which is better", you have to qualify what "better" means. Better in what way - feature support, scan times, performance, price . . . ? "Better" and "best" mean absolutely nothing out of context. I don't like using those terms period because they are too ambiguous.

So just because Kaspersky got 59 points does not automatically make it "better" than the others. Read the guide to see why one got more points than the other. The suite with the most points was not the "best" in every category. If you have specific questions I'll answer them.

Note to self: No wonder people can't figure out what to get -- they don't know what they want/need in the first place.

I have been using ZoneAlarm suite for several years and always thought this was ranked the "best". I am surprised it didn't even make the list.
