My guess (and it is only a guess) is that most everyday users would be more interested in the "slate" form factor rather than something as tiny as the smartbook. In my own xp the 10" size for a laptop style machine is too small ...

The buzz around these smartbooks is decidedly negative. The Google Page Ranking folks for this device might want to use the extra time they have to try and change that and convince people there's a use for these devices alongside SmartPhones and netbooks. Which I don't think there is so good luck.
