Vista Delayed
Surprise, surprise. Microsoft is delaying Vista, "with business availability in November 2006 and broad consumer availability in January 2007."

Gee, MS has never delayed a product launch date before....or have they?

Re: Vista Delayed
Yeah, I just saw this too on Ars Technica. Can't say I'm terribly dissapointed. I'd rather have them delay and get it right (hopefully) than have them rush a half baked pile of garbage to market.

Re: Vista Delayed
Mmmh, as far as I know MS they will delay it several times and then still release a "half baked pile of garbage." Personally I don't plan to touch Vista for the first year. I'd rather let other people do the beta testing.

LOL, you did notice I added the word "hopefully", right?
I'm also of the mind to watch the so-called word on the street for about 6-12 months before taking the plunge. With new versions of Linux distros I'm usually an early adopter because it doesn't cost me anything, but I gotta wait a while until something commercial has proven itself before I lay out cash for it.
