    Hello All,

I am in need of your help with Acronis. I am using Seven Home Premium x64. Installed all the applications including Acronis True Image 10. I cloned the hard disk to an external hard drive so that, I can install Seven Ultimate x64. I created Acronis Boot CD as well.

Now the problem, I have is when, I boot the laptop (HP dv7t 3000) with Acronis boot cd, I get the acronis screen to boot from the cd and after that the screen goes BLACK and nothing happens. I searched the net for solution - found nothing. Appreciate, if you can shed some light.

    Thanks

    Ram

shadow protect, and macrium reflect would be my first two choices ANY day..
The only way I was able to completely uninstall it was to disable the trueimage process in task manager then go into the acronis programs folder and rename all the .dl files except one of them which is protected. Restart then i can rename the protected file. then I use revo uninstaller to uninstall it and use the scan feature to detect any remaining registry and files. Works like a charm, but its a pain to do every time I use my backup image.
