Taking the above into consideration, in my opinion the M70 screen in photograph appears to have relatively uniform brightness and no light leakage.
I have to agree, the screen on that picture is a bit overexposed, but the screen does have problems displaying black colours

I've taken other pictures which I did not include in the review, here is a more accurate picture.

The black colour is still fairly washed out, and is a problem while watching movies with dark scenes (especially true when watching Lost).

The keyboard problem on the M60 should be mentioned. It tends to miss out some of the keys being typed, especially when hit briefly, although in the center, so it is a definite no-no for fast typers. Check the Toshiba support forum.

Recently I've had the keyboard replaced (rev 01) and made a BIOS update (1.50). Unfortunately, no improvement regarding the key eating problem (although I've read some computers have been fixed successfully). The local service folks are friendly but have no further instructions what to do. Toshiba seems to have serious quality management problems and seems to be unable to solve such a problem in reasonable time, therefore I can't recommend anyone to buy this notebook.

I'd kindly ask anyone who had this problem fixed successfully to write what exactly needs to be done or to give the contact data of the particular Toshiba service that fixed the computer.

Great review, thanks! I was just about to buy an M70 from Staples today when I ran across your review. The graphics performance sucks, as you note. Everything else is very good, so I will look for a similar Toshiba model with better graphics performance...
