I cant even deal with an AZERTY! My fingers automatically find their way into the QWERTY. I recall reading that the QWERTY was designed to slow down, yes, but nowadays everyone seems to use it and is quite easy I must say (I am used to it).

WOW! I just noticed how long are the travels between keys in my KB!!! Most words require that I move my hands a lot and I see my fingers move all around the KB...where can I find a Das Keyboard?
The Das Keyboard is not Dvorak, it is standard QWERTY. What separates it from the majority of keyboards are its mechanical keys and blank keys.

That said, I wonder if there will be a 15.6-inch version of the 5310m . . . that would make my life much harder.

Well, today I had to deal with an AZERTY (damn french KB), and I looked like a monkey on a laptop!
    SOmething like this:

But back to topic, are this KB backlighted or not? They do seem like Mac KB, which are BL, will these be?

What were they thinking with the gloss and that ugly red logo? LOL I'm trying to get far away from glossy.

Add 'high quality audio' to its list of expectations.

I'm wondering if this notebook is working up too much hype for its own good.

Isn't for me. I just won't buy the black version, and I could care less about audio quality out of a 1" laptop. External is the only way.

It's not for me. I'm happy that finally there are PCs that can compete with the Apple (Unibody) Macbook Pros in aesthetics and construction, but under a Windows environment. Although, truthfully, I always thought that Dell or Sony would get there first; I guess not.

I first saw the gloss and thought "I could probably learn to live with it since I love black." But when I saw that red logo I said HELL NO! I am really hoping for a black aluminum HP ENVY 15, would look sweet!

Dell Adamo? Personally I think the Apple isn't all that aesthetically pleasing and the construction isn't as good as the business level notebooks I've used.

I thought Sony would have brought unibody/aluminum to its laptops by now too. They already charge a hefty premium for the plastic they toss on their laptops so why not up their prices with aluminum...

I honestly was a bit shocked with Dell when I saw them add that leather accent for the Studio XPS 13/16. Hopefully that means that they are considering something a bit different from the usual matte/glossy color options they usually give us.
