    This is great news, though it's sure to face ALOT of competition from Windows 7. Even with Microsoft limping through Vista, it maintained a dominant marketshare despite competing offerings from different directions. How would Chrome do against a standing Windows 7?

    LOL...I like the sound of that...that made me laugh. They sure did limp through Vista all right. An injured OS indeed.

    Anyhow, at the matter at hand; As i've stated in another thread my first impression when I heard the news was this would be a major Fail, but when actually read the details on the upcoming Google OS I think it might just end up being the future of OSs.

    I guess we'll all see how it goes.....

    Google would probably make it efficient and cool looking. At least I hope they do. Someone does.

    I'm looking forward to this although I don't understand the concept of the web browser as the OS or something like that.

    I think the concept is to make it as simple as possible, meaning starts up quick and boots up minimal things so that you can be 'on the web' in a short amount of time.
