man, i hear all these news about notebooks to get full hd 120hz screens, yet desktop monitors are limited to just 2 models that aren't at full HD resolution.

maybe i'm just ignorant on the matter but could someone explain to me how 120Hz + 16:9 resolution = 3D?

Is it a designation for the type of monitor it is, or are they saying it is truly a 3 dimensional screen?

You may have to live without those pixels in the future. More and more notebooks with 1920X1200 displays are going to be displaced by models with 1920x1080 panels. The vast majority of those won't give you 120Hz refresh rates as a consolation prize either.

I'm curious about the text quality on these 120Hz panels HP will be using. I've read the 120Hz desktop monitors made by Samsung and Viewsonic have poor text quality.
