    HP Announces Notebook Battery Recall

    HP today announced in cooperation with the U.S. CPSC a voluntary recall of about 70,000 notebook battery packs. The battery packs can overheat and pose a fire/burn hazard. All affected customers can get a replacement battery pack at no cost.


    Please visit HP's validation page to find out if your notebook has been affected.
