HP dv2 Starting to Surface
The HP dv2, which we took a first look at back in January, is finally starting to appear on the market. The dv2 has a 12-inch LED-backlit screen, AMD Athlon Neo 64-bit processor, and ATI Radeon graphics. In an ad on HP's HK site, the listed price is equivalent to $771 USD.

Re: HP dv2 Starting to Surface
Man, LED backlit screen. When I saw how thin the MacBook's screens were I was totally jealous, and I also saw other LED screens on Vaios, so want an LED screen now. I figure this is a better buy than most netbooks.

Re: HP dv2 Starting to Surface
i'd say dell e4200 is the perfect form factor for a 11--12 ultraportable, only 2.2lb.

Re: HP dv2 Starting to Surface
That $771 looks like it includes the external optical drive/burner and the dedicated HD3410 GPU option so it's not that bad.

HP DV2 Initial Impressions (Pics 56K warning)
I picked one up yesterday and LOVE it, only problem i've run into is the GPU not ramping up to full speed.
