Re: Asus M50Sv-A1 User Review
Thanks for everyone's support! This was my first review and every comment is appreciated!
As for benchmarks, please note that 3dmark06 scores higher on XP than Vista. Also, I'm sure if I updated the graphics driver and/or overclocked the GPU, it should yield 200-300 more points.
@ Bunsie: I have the SyncMaster 226BW and the only difference to the 223BW is the response time. Other than that, everything is identical!ASUS U36JC-A1 w/ Intel 6300 wifi || G.Skill 256GB SSD

Re: Asus M50Sv-A1 User Review
Edit: Scrap below. There's a 4GB upgrade so I guess not. Looks like a good offering. Does show how Asus takes notes of what users say though... it's in the details! They put 2x headphone jacks, towards the front, for 2x ppl watching a movie say on a plane, yet they left them on the side (but to the front) at the sacrifice of only a couple of cm wiring.

By any chance, is one of the RAM sticks soldered to the motherboard?Last edited by Xmas; 14th April 2008 at 02:39 PM.

Re: Asus M50Sv-A1 User Review
my girlfriend bought this a couple weeks ago and loves it. Something I notice though is sometimes I have to press the keyboard pretty hard to get a response. Do you have the same problem? I may just be a wimpy typer.

Re: Asus M50Sv-A1 User Review
Good review.
It is a shame to see that Asus hasn't really worked on improving battery life. That was the main reason why I decided not to keep my Asus V1s. Still good review.
