That Dell M1330 does look quite nice and very sleek package overall... but what is with the 'consumer' range styling? Dell somehow contrive to actually create uglier designs with each generation. That is truly astonishing and I salute them in that respect

A new AMD-based 17" Inspiron is showing up soon? Sweet.

    Hey HP, are you listening?

The graphics card for the Dell Inspiron 1520 is amazing (3DMark05 score of about 6000)! If it is less than $1500... I'm your next customer, Dell! Plus the new media reader and the webcam and the UXGA resolution and the sweet new design!

Wow, I'm even more impressed on the specs of the Dell Inspiron 1420.
It has a GPU of 8400m! Very impressive!

I really like the specs of these upcoming Inspiron Lines, hopefully it might bring up their sales to retake the no.1 spot.

However, the XPS m1330 looks strikingly similar to Sony's styling of notebooks, Ie. Sony SZ models I believe.

They also redesigned the interior and the exterior of the Inspiron line:

Hope the Dell Coupons will work on these! ^_^

I agree they look like last generation's Toshibas and they aren't fantastic looking, it is still a step up from the old white bumper clad Dells however. The specs and the screen options look great on these models. The 1520 and 1420 are well enough, enough to make me think about upgrading to one of those two models before the end of summer... but they are new models so I can't be sure if Dell prices will cooperate. I can't wait to see a review. I will be interested to see what the build on these is like and it will be nice to see real pictures of the new inspirons to or to maybe even see them in person at the Dell kiosks in the local mall.
