Actual weight would be nice to know (with whatever battery you're using).

    And battery life, of course.

Oh, one more: your thoughts on how it compares to Sony's SZ Premium would be great!

We are are eagerly awaiting the review and the release tomorrow. I'm ready to buy now.

I'm debating weather to get the 1310 or the new Mac Book Pro. If anybody has any thoughts, please see my post here - XPS 1310 or MBP 15"

    Thanks,
    AP

Agreed, this is what I want to know more than anything else right now. I'm now torn between the m1330 and an Asus z35f, with the biggest factors being battery life and price. The Dell might drain a little more because of the graphics card (the Asus uses an onboard Intel video chipset), but the SSD might offset that. Please run some good tests on the battery for the review.

I got a Canadian flyer from Dell with info on the XPS 1330. I'll scan it once I dust off the scanner in the closet.

It looks like it starts at $1499 CANADIAN with:
    Intel COre 2 Duo T7100
    Vista Home
    2GB RAM
    120GB HD
2.0MP webcam (therefore not the LED backlight)
    8X DVDRW

No info on the options in this flyer, but the Dell salesguy was kind of clueless when I mentioned the options. For example, I asked about pricing on the LED and blueray, he goes on to say $1000 for each option. I said no way, the Sony's LED backlight aren't even that expensive, and he goes on to say that no Sony's have LED backlights.

So that seems to be 1399 USD. I like that it comes with 2 GB of RAM standard. From there, the video card would probably be about 125 USD, based on what the M1210 offers now.

How much do you think the LED backlight might cost?

By the way, I just now registered to post in this thread.
