The shutdown is a hardware feature, not software..

Re: Monitoring mobile ATI & nVidia Video Card Temps - Do your temps worry you?
yea i think the reason it restarted on me is because i ran the game without the ac power cord so it was downclocked. I shut the game down then i restarted the game again while also using the supcom maximizer which supposodly makes the cpu handling for the game better. maybe thats the reason why it restarted. sorry for the confusion guys. this programs top notch though..like how i can see my temps..it says 39 atm thats good right heh?

Re: Monitoring mobile ATI & nVidia Video Card Temps - Do your temps worry you?
I am glad that it works fine for you.
The RivaTuner is used as a monitoring tool.
If the temperature reaches critical or threshold (usually around 90C degrees), then the system will handle automatically (not RivaTuner).
Strange that it crashed.... that does not seem characteristic of heating issues though.
Wow you have good temps for that system.
My system floats around 85-90C degrees while playing games like Oblivion, C&C 3 and etc...

LOL. nice.

Game crashes happen, and are usually hard to diagnose... unless if you can re-produce the problem in the exact way each time.

Re: Monitoring mobile ATI & nVidia Video Card Temps - Do your temps worry you?
Notebook Hardware Control is not meant to monitor GPU temps... only CPU, HDD, and voltages/power options.
