Re: Windows XP Installation Guide
Thanks for this great guide E.B.E.
It is still most useful !
BTW... looks like the PartImage issue has been solve over the SystemRescueCd 1.1.2 release...
Current version is SystemRescueCd 1.1.3 (242 MB) from 12/08/2008.From SystemRescueCd official website:
* important bug in version 1.1.1: An important bug in the ISO image makes sysresccd-1.1.1 unbootable on some hardware. This problem is fixed in 1.1.2.

Re: Windows XP Installation Guide
I have an XPS 1530, and I have installed XP, and now I want to go back to Vista.
I saved the partition that came with the HD for recovery, but I can not boot to the recovery environment. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: Windows XP Installation Guide
A couple more tips for this thread...
You can also use XPlite by LitePC to customize and tweak Windows XP your way. It is a very simple and secure little software to really (not just hide the default access shortcut) uninstall utilities and unnecessary stuff from your Windows XP (like Windows Movie Maker, the screen savers that comes with XP, WMP, NetMeeting or even Internet Explorer among alot more options).
It worket just great for me
Also, Driver Genius Pro from Driver-Soft has been very useful to update my installed drivers to the latest available version.
Hope this helps
