Looking for a guide...
im sure theres one on this site sumwhere, but im not sure how to find it, and if itll be the right one...
im getting a new laptop, and i want to get rid of all the junk programs and crap that it comes with.....how do i do it?

I usually just reformat the computer when I get it but that requires an OS cd.
might be easier way's but that's how I do it mate

hmm....
if never done this before so slightly more detailed answers are also appreciated....
and no, i didnt see an OS CD, but do i need it?
should i stay at vista or upgrade to win 7? at which point i woudlnt need the cd?
and is revo uninstaller save my drivers and OS? or do i have to backup the drivers on cd's? which is my primary concern...

Do a clean install.

It's cool. I used to use it occasionally, but then I read somewhere it contained malware. I didn't really believe it, but sure enough, I uploaded it to virustotal.com and got about 40% detected as malicious. It wasn't a trojan.xpack false positive either, mainly advertising crap.
