I Seek Advice In Custom Gaming Laptop
Hello Everyone,
I am looking forward to buying a custom Gaming laptop to replace my current desktop as it is a problem when you are constantly moving from country to country.
I found out about the site xoticpc.com and between the other sites i have looked at this one seems to have the best deals and the most amount of custumizable options.
I spent some time looking at what they have and I think something like this would be fine for the next couple of years,

You could save some from just buying the 4GB of RAM and than installing the 16GB for a lower price.

Just an FYI, there's a forum sub-section built specifically for this type of thing called "What Notebook Should I Buy?" You'll probably get better help there since your topic is more relevant there.

Is this the same model you are looking at?
GenTech PC - Customize System
IF yes as homank76 said go with the stock 8 gig ram. I would go with the intel 120 GIG SSD as primary drive (Great price ) and use the 500 GIG standard drive for storage (secondary) Unless you want to RAID the drives.
Also wait for a review to see if the 2 gig video card performs a lot better than the 1.5 gig version.
Don't forget to ask for an NBR discount from whoever you buy from, and haggle for the best price or at least some free accessories.

Or go to the Sager Sub-Forum the folks there can be pretty helpful as well. I actually think a mod should move this, since it isn't really a cosmetic thing at all, and doesn't fall under the spirit of what I think is meant by Custom Builds. (I could be wrong though)
