Re: Show us your computer room 2!
The cable management already has me excited, and my Mini P180 was not exactly bad in that regard anyway haha
This is how my system has grown (and yes I have been a big mATX fan haha):
Original: Core 2 Quad Q9550 and 4850 CF (All on a DFI LP JR P45t2rs)

Good: Core i7 920 and 4850 CF (Orignally on the DFI LP JR X58t3h6 but eventually an Asus Rampage II GENE)

Better: Core i7 920 and GTX 275 SLI (On the Asus Rampage II GENE)
http://i30.tinypic.com/34oeelg.jpg
Best: Core i7 920 then 930 then 965 and 5870 CF

Re: Show us your computer room 2!
My trick is sell the old so you can buy the new. Wish I could afford to have all that at once haha
Also always have an eye for the awesome deals:
$365 for my i7 Extreme 965
$200 for the i7 920
$200 for the i7 930
$140 for my Corsair 700D
$210 for my Rampage II Extreme
No way I could afford any of those at or near their msrp haha. Living near a MicroCenter helps alot! Only not brand new part was the 965Alienware M14x R2: Intel Core i7 3610qm | 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 Ram | Nvidia GT 650m 2GB GDDR5 | Intel 320 160GB SSD | Killer Wifi 1202 | Slot Load Blu-Ray Player | 900p Screen

Re: Show us your computer room 2!
See the thing is I require a minimum of 3 computers for my setup. I can only afford 1 at a time so Im reusing them and by the time I can sell them they are either dead or worth literally nothing. Im hoping this APU deal pans out well and that should curb my tech appetite for a bit.
Hopefully tonight I can post a pic of my home office if work doesnt kill me first.

Re: Show us your computer room 2!
Well that is my desktop...I also have the laptop and htpc. Those are my 3 that I consider all essential to my "setup"

Re: Show us your computer room 2!
I was worse than living close, I worked at one haha. And I almost did end up single and broke during that period!
The 965 was a "refurb" meaning working system pull since they pretty much cant refurb a cpu from Alienware eBay. I have seen a QX9650 there for like $200 before as well.Alienware M14x R2: Intel Core i7 3610qm | 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston HyperX DDR3-1866 Ram | Nvidia GT 650m 2GB GDDR5 | Intel 320 160GB SSD | Killer Wifi 1202 | Slot Load Blu-Ray Player | 900p Screen

Re: Show us your computer room 2!
Here are the pics of my home setup. Kinda crammed a bit but that actually allows me to access my server (hopefully servers soon), my main rig and the white board very easily. I honestly think it may be time for an l desk. Sorry about the picture quality.

Vostro 1500
I have used my pink 1520 in ages.
Looking at all of these setups makes me want to move out ASAP! This little 15x8 bedroom ain't cutting it.
