Re: How to Move documents from one computer to another
pull the hard drive out of the old computer, hook it up to the new machine with a USB cable/adapter and copy away. Don't even bother booting up the old computer.

I don't know if this works but you could try to hook up the hard drive form your old computer with the new one.
Edit: Aaw...newsposter got before me. Well... if you don't know how to to tech stuff maybe you could ask a friend to do it for you. You probably know somebody who can fix it for you.My Rig - |Factor Gaming - Sager NP9280|

Re: How to Move documents from one computer to another
if your old machine has a trojan your usb drive will get contaminated adn you will transfer that to the new machine.
This might be worth a few $$$ paid to a friend or a shop to do the data transfer safely.

Re: How to Move documents from one computer to another
It would be best to get rid of the Trojans and viruses first, because some of which can copy themselves onto hardware plugged in like USB AND also another computer's HDD.

Re: How to Move documents from one computer to another
you can just download and install Kaspersky internet security on the new machine , you will get a fully functional program for 30 days , and then use the USB to transfer files from the old computer to the new one BUT you will have to right click and do a full scan each time you transfer on the USB , remember each time , try not to transfer games and programs they catch alot of viruses , you can transfer music , images , videos , documents
