Re: Force fans to go faster?
Reboot resets the values. Also, p1 toggling does that too.

Re: Force fans to go faster?
Ok thx again.
I've notified that P1 toggling affected the fan. It's official now.

Re: Force fans to go faster?
Rebooting shouldn't actually reset all values. To reset the values you should need to remove all power sources from your laptop (battery + ac adapter) for a few minutes.
Current: MSI GX640-098US, i5 430M OC to 3.0 GHz using SetFSB, ATI Mobility Radeon 5850 OC to 750/1000@1.06 using ATI Tray Tools
Fan Control Tools 1.0.4 26/04/2012
Fan Control Tools currently compatibility with: MSI GX640, 16F2, GX660, GT660, GT683DX, GT780, GX740

Re: Force fans to go faster?
With my gt780dx values reset when rebooting. Doesn't matter if the ac is plugged or it's on battery.

Re: Force fans to go faster?
It seems that the newer MSI notebooks are setup to reset the EC upon shutdown. If you would like to work around this you can setup a batch file to automatically apply a profile and set that to run on startup, or you can use command line arguments on the Fan Profile Applier program and set that to run upon startup.

Re: Force fans to go faster?
Heyy! As I said earlier it may or may not be possible to fix the fan issue on the G73JH, I can't be sure whether it is without getting a specific file. To get that file follow the instructions in this post: Force fans to go faster?
As for messenger programs I'll PM you my info if I need to discuss anything with you, however it should be pretty straight forward once I see the file whether anything may be possible or not.Current: MSI GX640-098US, i5 430M OC to 3.0 GHz using SetFSB, ATI Mobility Radeon 5850 OC to 750/1000@1.06 using ATI Tray Tools
