If so, then unfortunately the video card is not "officially" upgradeable so we couldn't do it, and MSI won't do it. However if you look at Timur's review of the PowerPro R 11:36 on this forum you will see that he installed an AMD 5870 which is a hotter card and he seems to be doing fine with it. However I would recommend waiting until after your warranty expires to do that sort of thing, and keep your nVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M 192bit w/1.5GB GDDR5 in case you have to use it again
oh, i meant the 12:17. but that's okay i'll just buy another laptop when the time comes lol

A few seeding/eval units are arriving in the next day or two at MSI. We will finally have our first look at it this week.

Actually it's not that hot. I have attached screnshot of idle temps + max temps while running 3Dmark 06. My max temp during DeusEx human revolution was 65C on GPU core. During Furmark it was 70C max on GPU core! I love that cooling system. Ambient temp was 21-22C. My GPU is repasted with ICD.

Looks like the first batch that's coming is going to be limited in quantity and evenly distributed to various resellers . MSI expects to get another shipment by 9/19.

It appears to be on the barebone.

MSI has some more pics up on their site now, we should have some high resolution ones soon.:

The barebone will also have the cooler boost function, cinema pro, dynaudio, and touch sensor rather than buttons.
