At the suggestion of -=$tR|k3r=- , I figured I would create an Owner's Lounge. I received my 683DXR today, and it is awesome! Feel free to post benchmarks, pics, or just discuss anything and everything about these models. I will most likely update this OP as we go along.

Hopefully this thread will be a resource of information for those that have one of these, or are considering purchasing one in the future.

Attached to this post are screenshots of 3D Mark 06, Vantage, and 3D Mark 11. All tests were done at a GPU clock of 700 (Core) 1400 (Shader) 1800 (Memory) with a 2720qm CPU. The driver version was 275.50. I had to modify the .inf file to allow for the installation of the driver. No other changes were made to the driver package other than adding the Device ID to the .inf file

Vantage was also run with Physx disabled.

Congrats, I'm eying the model myself, I'd like to buy a laptop before next month for a trip. Would you be working on a review, benchmarks, pictures, etc. yourself? Curious how much you paid for it and where you got it from. I'm surprised you already got it today, when did you order it?

Not sure what I'm going to do yet as far as benchmarks and whatnot. I don't have alot of games, so it would probably be synthetic benchmarks. Not to mention, the machine isn't stock anymore. I put in a 2720 for the CPU.

Without pics, I can tell you that I got 12400 in Vantage and 3400 in 3D Mark 11 with a overclock of 700/1400/1800 on the GPU. This was with the 275.50 drivers that I modified the inf to allow for installation.

In your situation, I would look at reviews of the older GT680 laptops. Really the only difference between them and this is a 560m vs 570m GPU. All the other features should be identical.
