Can you run a game with Fraps running and V-Sync on to confirm if it's really doing 120Hz?

If you can also, go to Start - Computer. Right click on "Computer" and select "Properties". Select "Device Manager". Go to "Monitors" and click on the sideways triangle next to it to expand it. Right click on whatever the monitor is called - most likely "Generic PnP Monitor" or something to that effect - and select "Properties". Select the "Details" tab. The top column in the next window is labeled "Property" with a dropdown under it that should be set to "Device Description". Click on "Device Description". You should now see a long list. The second option in the list should be "Hardware Ids". Select that one. Please post whatever it says in the "Value" window beneath it. It should say "Monitor\??????????????"

Edit: Another guess is it could be displaying the refresh rate for the HDMI connection. It has HDMI 1.4, which means that it will do 120Hz output through the HDMI port.

Mine just arrived, haven't removed it from the box yet. I'm pretty stoked.

Looks like I got a defective laptop or a bad battery. Battery caps out at 95% charged, and if I pull the cord out, the comp shuts down right away. Won't boot up without the cord plugged in, even though battery is secured.

Donald, didn't s0ysauce45 just order from PowerNotebooks, so wouldn't that make you the Sheriff?

But I thought you were the Sheriff, and the rest were just Deputies! Is there another Sheriff in town?

For now its working perfect, aside from not being able to take it off a/c. Thats fine for now, but I may need to be more mobile soon, so hopefully MSI will call me back as their tech lines are flooded right now.

Also, my microphone seems to not be working, is there somewhere I need to enable it like the webcam?
