    Sweet

It is strange the MSi branded unit did not come with the bracket

The Whitebook 16F2 did include the second HD bracket.

Because they dont expect you to change a branded model. With the barebones you are assembling it yourself.

    Hi,

Just thought that someone might know what is going on or had the same issue:

I deicided recently to replace my intel centrino n130 to intel advenced n-6230. Since I done this upgrade the system does not see the wi fi card. What is weird the bluetooth is working fine. I tried to instal 5 different drivers from intel web site but no success. Device manager is telling me that the device can't start (code 10). Which is a driver issue (or a damage wi-fi issue).

Has anyone had a problem witch this adapter? This wi-fi adapter is fully compatibile with GT683DXR laptop and it is available as a better option in many shops.

Unfortunatelly there is 15 different drivers on Intel web site. I allready tried 5 of them and still nothing. The bluetooth is working fine. Also I tried to do the windows update but it was not good to me.

    All advices are appreciated.

The other 2 RAM slots are underneath the keyboard.

Here is the [ link ] to the .pdf guide which shows how to get to RAM underneath the keyboard. It also shows how to get to the other hardware component such as processor, graphic card, hard drive, etc.
This guide is the same for all GT68x series.

Thanks, I figured this out last night after removing the GPU LOL! Oh well, at least I re-seated the heatsinks. There was way too much thermal compound on the GPU.

BTW, what sort of CPU temps are you guys getting with your GT683's? I'm around 45C idle, 70C load :s Maybe I should re-seat the CPU heatsink again? I put it on Arctic Silver 5.
