    Default S270 4 Cell Battery?

    Anyone know where i can get a 4 cell battery for the S270 (aka ms-1013)? I really need one. I found a few before i bought my laptop and now that i have it the battery is nowhere to be found hah.. Thanks in advance.

    AMD Turion MT-28 | ATI Radeon Xpress 200M |
    512MB OCZ DDR PC3200 | 100GB Toshiba 5400RPM 16MB

    i wish that worked.. already checked.. all those sites are sold out or back order or not available.. thanks for taking the time to look though.. got any other ideas? that one was very close

    Sadly no. I wonder if MSI sells battery. I know that Dell does.

    Averatec sells the S270 rebadged as the Averatec 2100 series. They should be able to offer the 4 cell battery...

    They do have 2 batteries listed, the cheaper one presumably should be the 4 cell asthey dont really mention the capacity.

    I have a 1057 which uses the same battery. I can't find the 4 cell in stock anywhere either. I even emailed MSI, but they said they only have the 8 cell for sale. Makes me wonder if there even IS a 4 cell.

    I picked up a black 4 cell from buy.com a couple of months ago. Unfortunately it looks like they're out of stock now.

    Thanks! ill contect them and look into it. the only problem is mine is a black s270 however, i may pick up a 2100.. i also was trying to figure out on the forum if the 2100 implements a RS480 or RS482 chipset..

    Zeros: yeah i know what you mean.. ive seen on ebay people selling these laptops (2100 and s270) with the 4cell battery included..

    The 4 cell batteries for the MS-1013/S270 are discontinued
    Tried and True: Twinhead N15RB - Hand me up to my brother. Coming soon - MSI MS-1039 W00T!
