probably the performance. i have yet to receive the laptop yet but i kind of cringe at the idea of a lower res/performance.

On the other hand its only $1033 CAD, i assume about 700-800 less than the Asus g51 if it releases on newegg.ca

Hmm true, depends what you want to do really, you will benefit from lower res hugely in games as its alot less (millions) of pixels to render, im happy to have a small res on my 17in book

@bestbacon I would say try it first and then if you don't like then send it back.

@catacylsm I agree with you. I actually like 1366x768 resolution. Easier on the eyes and less strain on the graphics card.

Nice. I wish I had that luxury. I don't think I have any service center around me. How did you find out?

I went to the MSI site, tried to look for a number to ask why the EX625 went out of stock in Canada only to stumble upon the same area code (905). I then checked the location and it was apparently in richmond hill. (about a 30 minute drive) I called in to ask only to figure out they dealt with RMA's Repairs, and Technical Support. Lucky for me.

That's one reason why i think i won't refund this laptop! Its simply much more easier to drive to get my laptop repaired then to ship it off and wait like 1-2 weeks to get it back

Edit: The Asus g51 also looks to be having some cooling problems so .
