Also if any of the current 725 owners are also MMO players like WOW or WAR could you comment on the in game performance at the highest settings. (I plan on connecting it to a 1080p 52 LCD when not in tow)

The 725 is my short list for laptops but I have not dismissed a desktop as an option if the 725 just cant handle the large scale PVP keep/city sieges of Warhammer Online. (Bud just got an i7 with a 285 1g card and its just stunning, although I cannot tell just how over-classed WAR is on that system).

    Also plan for DOW II.

Hi! I have some questions about the fan behaviour of the GT725:

    1) In Office/Idle Mode: is the fan constantly running or is the fan going up/down uneasily? Is the noise noticeable?

    2) Under Load/Gaming: How loud does it get? Is the fan noise better or worse than the Clevo m860tu? (or take other objects for comparison like vacuum cleaner/helicopter noise...)

I've been silently following this thread.. the 4k ATI cards are interesting to me, because OCZ is supposed to allow the 4870s in Crossfire to work in my rig. From what I've seen..this is good news. Looks like the 4870s will be eating up some GTXs for an appetizer..and likely having some desktop GPUs for dessert. Thanks for the info faisal.. Very good to see.

WOW those are some awsome notebook scores you got there!
So are you going to upgrade to the 4870 X-Fire as soon as it comes out? I bet you'll add on a few thousand to that record if you do!

Yah I have always been an ATI fan, they have always had the highest theoretical scores, but just haven't been able to apply them as well as nvidia in all games. It has been a hard road for ATI, the only setback Nvidia has had to deal with was the FX series, and that wasn't even a big deal compared to what ATI went through with the HD2900XT. That card had a bug that took 8 months to fix, by then the 8800GTX had already been out and smashing anything else they had. Of course it smashed the HD2900, which basically bankrupt them had AMD not have bought them =/. I have owned a 9200, X700, X850 PE, X1900XT. But this laptop has Nvidia in it, but as soon as I get the MSI 725GT I'll be going back to the dark side
