Re: What are you currently driving?
Yeah they were all the same thing. I was looking to get a decent AE86...til I saw 3-4 grand for ones that needed to be fixed up, and running ones for 7 grand. No thanks for 7 grand for a 1987 Corolla. But it's funny in the States, people think the Corolla is just a subcompact that gets good fuel economy, while it used to be a rally car, and a lightweight entry level RWD sports car.

Re: What are you currently driving?
reasons I wouldn't buy an ae86.
-used ones are almost always covered in aftermarket parts
-obviously worn down due to age
-21 mpg, 26 if you're careful
-Low chance it would pass texas state inspection
-somewhat priced high in my local area.Notebook: Lenovo Y560 "Lain"|i7 740QM|OC'D: ATI HD Radeon 5730m|5400RPM 500GB WD HDD|8GB DDR3 G.SKILL

Re: What are you currently driving?
My grandparents leased a new Jetta SE sedan and it's not horrible. Sure the design is pretty mediocre but it is a pretty solid little car. Although they've already experienced a couple electric glitches...

Re: What are you currently driving?
^^^ Mechanically solid, sure. I'd be ticked if a brand new car had any sort of glitches in it though.
