Re: What are you currently driving?
Yeah it was, but due to ambitious pricing (you could get a Ranger, Tacoma or Sonoma/S-10 for cheaper), higher tow ratings from the other small pickups and a lack of marketing, it just didn't take off.
As far as the G8 goes, a dealer in Maryland took advantage of a loophole to sell the very closely related Chevy Caprice to regular people (GM insists on limiting the car sales to police only) and Motor Trend interviewed someone who got one.

Re: What are you currently driving?
It was a weak, slow, scooby ugly four door that they tried to pass off as a "sport utility". It wasn't much more than a sedan without the deck lid. MUCH better options for real sport utilities were available from almost every other manufacturer on the planet.
I guess I originally should've said, "I WANT MY PERFORMANCE UTE!" A big V8, 2 door, rear wheel drive monster... Aussie style, like the Maloo.

Re: What are you currently driving?
I just got a new car, a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. For a car that weighs almost as much as my old Grand Marquis, it has quite a bit of get up and go.

Re: What are you currently driving?
What? The Altima definitely does NOT require premium gas. No N/A motor unless it's a Porsche needs premium gas. They "recommend" premium gas for optimum performance, but again for N/A motors it makes no difference. Turbocharged/supercharged motors are completely different, even modern ECU for those will retard the timing so you "could" run such cars on regular (highly not recommended).
