Re: What are you currently driving?

Mine is on the left, managed to park next to a 2010 Legacy GT at school. I'm a 4th gen (2005-2009) fan personally.
Family has become a real big Subaru fan over the years. We've purchased 5 of them within the past 10 years or so, and not because they blow up (though one did get totaled in an accident).Questionably Portable: HP EliteBook 8730w|17" WUXGA RGB DreamColor|C2D P8600 2.4GHz|1GB nVidia FX3700M|4GB DDR2-800|250GB 7200RPM Guinea Pig Portable: Google Cr-48 Legacy: HP Compaq nx9420

Re: What are you currently driving?
I'd love like an '07 Legacy GT or a 03/04 STi. Don't like bug eye or hawk eye WRX/STi. Too bad insurance is crazy expensive for Subies for me.

Re: What are you currently driving?
Ya last generation was plain and simple yet still looks great. I never really considered a Legacy as a DD as for me it is quite big and such a premium over an Impreza, but there are waaaay too many Imprezas and Outbacks where I live.

Re: What are you currently driving?
Well the thing is Japanese family sedans used to be cheap. The whole reason people bought them was they were cheap, got excellent fuel economy and were very reliable. My 1996 Honda Accord LX had 192k miles on it before I crashed it in 2007. Our 1997 Honda CR-V has 214k miles before I gave it back to my parents.
The only reason why Japanese sedans are so expensive now is because people buy them just for the name. Oh it's a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry, it must be good. Manufacturers realized it was a gold pit, so slowly the base price has been going up. Even Civics/Corollas are crazy expensive. You used to get a base base Civic for like 11. Cheapest now is like 14 grand (new).
I got a friend who has a Grand Marquis and another who has a Crown Victoria. They are pretty reliable but not so good on gas (my 240SX ain't great on gas either). At least your cars parts are dirt cheap as you can steal them from the Town Car or Crown Vic.

Re: What are you currently driving?
I love the new WRX hatch, it's just the AWD. It seems to take a lot of the skill out of driving the car. I know Subies are famous for there AWD but still...
