New York Auto Show - 2012
Anything strike anyone's fancy this year? List of reveals: http://www.autoblog.com/2012/04/05/w...ork-auto-show/
I love the new Viper. Such a cool car. The Avalon and Impala are refreshing takes on previously dowdy models. The Shelby 1000 = <3 and I hope VW got good feedback from show attendees so the Passat AllTrack might have a chance.Laptop/Netbooks: Dell Latitude D630

Viper's nice but reminds me way too much of the first generation model...at least it's finally got a decent interior.
Avalon and Impala were definite surprises. The Impala just looks so handsome now. The new Altima's rather interesting too.

I'm surprised they were serious about the Delorean reviving. Exterior basically looks untouched. It's probably the most interesting Electric car, right now.

Nothing really exciting IMO. I thought the flying car would have been more interesting. My favorite cars were the 2012 Lotus Evora S and the 2013 MB SL65 AMG though.

Land Rover is complete nonsense. The Passat looks clean, but I don't like the Audi style led strips in the front. Makes it seem like a wannabe.
I'll take the M6 and the Delorean

I wonder how much the electric Delorian weighs and how long it'll last on a charge? I suspect that it's insanely heavy especially since the standard car wasn't exactly a lightweight IIRC.
Yesss! The Evora looked great, although I'm LOL'ing at Lotus current Google Page Ranking nightmare.
The LED strips are everywhere, unfortunately I don't think they'll go away anytime soon. They do look good on some models though.

Unfortunately for Lotus fans, the future's not very bright for everyone's favorite carmaker from Hethel. Its Malaysian corporate parent Proton has decided to sell Lotus off to DRB-Hicom, and the new bosses aren't as optimistic about keeping perennially loss-making Lotus as an investment.
The worst case scenario is Lotus might end up like Saab did.
I'm typing this at work; Websense is blocking most car sites here, but links to this story aren't hard to find.
