What kind of glue for water outlet housing?
The WOH cap blew off recently (thanks to geniuses at Chrysler) so now I'm looking for a glue that's resistant to water, coolant, up to 150C heat and can withstand some pressure. The first time we glued it with some epoxy that was supposed to be resistant to fluids but it lasted for a month.
The cap is similar to this one *warning* 2.7L coolant leak *warning* - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle - there's 3 pictures in the 2nd post.Laptop: Inspiron 1505, 1.66 Core Duo, 3GB RAM, external XFX Radeon 5750 1GB + PE4L, 23" 1920x1080

Re: What kind of glue for water outlet housing?
what i would suggest is epoxy it again, and put 2 hose clamps on it to keep it down tight, and of course check it periodically for leaks.
High Temperature Adhesives and Epoxies, Ceramics, Insulation, Epoxies and Epoxy
i suspect this stuff would work but it might cost more than a used car since no prices are listed lol
hell if all else fails just go to home depot and pick up some rubber tubing that you might use to connect two pipes and cut out the WOH and clamp on the rubber hose in its place.Dell M6500 | i7-820QM | 8GB RAM | Quadro FX 2800M | 2x500GB Momentus XT RAID0 | RGBLED 1200P | Intel 6300
