I think these are legitimate gripes. For someone who is looking into a new Z, this info is very useful when I go play with one.
"Worth it" is subjective. The Z uses good materials, but it uses them sparingly.

I also have to agree that the SR has a great glossy screen. There is little glare compared to the MBP line.
