Do you think Dell will be doing an XPS 15 refresh this year, similar to the XPS 13 one they release in Jan (bigger screen)?
Jan 7 and Feb for the Ubuntu version.

Things that frustrate me with the 9550:
* Only two lane thunderbolt
* Only HDMI 2.0 output
* USB-C charging @100W throttles at really odd times...

New BIOS out - 220.127.116.11 (getting pushed out via windows update - might be for insiders only?) - couldn't find a readme.
Re the bios - I suspect I would trust "Dell" more than I would trust some random person on the internet! You do know by never updating your Bios...
@Drew1 Go into the bios and reduce the number of cpu cores to 1 and lower the screen brightness as low as you can.
Then in widows, switch power...
