Right, it is normal. Of course if you undervolt and tweak the power it will be cooler. But normally the temp there is very high and is normal.

Careful with the 4tb m.2 drives they require more power than a lot of m.2 motherboard provides especially in laptops.
Pretty sure they added the limit on purpose. I don't think you'll see an official "fix" There are ways around it..
I have had several dell machines in the field with ram failure. It is mainly the tiny small form factor desktops that use sodim’s.
does not support KS or KF. Dell said they will not add support on the r1 for theee CPU’s.

I am sure they did that to take a load off the controller to allow faster ram this time. Since they couldn't seem to make the r1 work as advertised.
